Goodbye!

Ill say goodbye to you but.....
But with you Ill stay
Tomorrow is only min. away
And still Ill say goodbye

My love for life has dwindled
My thoughts of you have diminished
So I must say goodbye

Yet still Ill stay
Stay in mind
stay in spirit
......Ill stay
In you

music- Jonathan

Music in a way isfood for the ears. While the vasriation may be different for others we all recieve some type of fufillment and nourishment from what we choose to listen to. I personally like to listen to all kinds of music. It's kind of weird though because when I tell people that I listen to a certain genre they are surprised because it may not be rap or the typical kind of music a black person would listen to. I would like to ask my classmates why they believe that society has created stereotypes which mark certain music types to be associated with certain ethnicities.

Why I'm Always Late or Absent

So, for one of the options we have to write about for our Senior memoir is titled "Why I..." The point of this assignment is to describe why we do what we do, usually something we like or something we're known for. At this time of the year, i'm known for my tardiness/absences, so i'm going to give you the reasons why I'm so late so you can stop asking me.

1.) I turned my alarm clock off, permanently.
2.) I stay up all night just thinking about how much I don't want to go to school in the morning.
3.) I'm never home early enough to fall asleep on Sundays... mondays, tuesdays etcs.
4.) I didn't do my homework for a certain class
5.) I didn't study for a certain test.
6.) I worked my a$$ off for a certain class and didn't feel like investing any more energy in the rest of my schedule.
& 7.) I just didn't want to.

So, when you see me in the halls ways 2 hours after a class we had together, don't ask me why I wasn't there. Thanks:)

Goodbye Osos-Christiana R.

The past few months, i've heard people counting down the number of days that we have left of school. Day after day the number has gotten lower and lower. Now with only a little more than a week left, people are still excited to leave a place we have all been to for the last four years. Excited to begin a life of responsibility and new possibilities along with limited certainties. This feeling of eagerness to leave has yet to reach me, in fact I don't think it ever will. I have come to really love being at Los Osos and it is hard to imagine myself not walking down those halls, running on that track, and hanging out on campas afterschool with friends. Just the other day, a teacher told me that I should be happy to graduate because it will bring about new possibilities and I said "yeah, its just possibilities, nothing is for sure, I don't like change and this is a big change".  What I have now, going from class to class seeing the same people daily, doing just about the same thing everyday; I am satsified with that. Many people are not, and I understand that too. I just hope that all those people understand that after this, its not gonna be all partying and hanging out all the time. I'ts gonna be much more than that. So, as I write all this down, let me just say, goodbye Los Osos, I will miss you, thank you for the last four years, we have had some really good times together. So class of 2011, lets remember the good times.
